From the first Singapore cohort
Experience became something she could use every day.
I am 50, completely non-technical, permanently short of time, and trying to scale Guilt Free Food without throwing money at every problem. So you can imagine my reaction when I built my first AI agent from scratch and it actually worked.
I have always thought that scaling means I need to teach more people what I know. Now I am starting to think about how we can make that knowledge available to the business whenever it needs it. I came in knowing almost nothing about building agents. Now I have one working at GFF every day.
A task from her business
In an ANZA feature, Joyce describes using AI to review orders and prepare the baking list. Knowing how the business worked gave her a concrete task to build around.

Something you have built. And know how to check.
Your experience helps you choose the right sources, spot an implausible answer and decide what happens next. We teach you how to put that judgement into the process.
Explore the programmeA plan for a real task
Define the result you need, the sources to use and the decisions that stay with you. Keep this brief with your workflow.
A workflow you have tested
Give AI a task, inspect the output and improve the instructions. Keep clear points where you review or approve its work.
Instructions you can reuse
Save the context, rules and output format that helped. Use them again when the next report, brief or follow-up comes around.
A plan for what comes next
Leave knowing what worked, what needs more testing and where your judgement belongs. Stay connected through the alumni community as you continue developing it.
One day with a task of your own
Time to try it.
Help when you get stuck.
The value is in applying AI to your work, with guidance in the room. You will practise, inspect mistakes and improve what you build.
Morning / Understand and practise
Learn what AI can and cannot do. Give it useful context, then build and check a first supervised workflow.
Afternoon / Build around your expertise
Use your source material and task brief to build, test and refine a workflow. Save the instructions and plan your next steps.
Your trainer, in person
Max Del Vita
Max designs AI workflows for businesses and teaches the full day. He is CEO of Symplehost.ai, has built products at EF Education and Zinier, and is a Claude Community Ambassador for Singapore.
A cohort capped at 20 gives you room to ask questions and work through your own task. Alumni community access helps you stay connected after the workshop.

A few practical questions.
Tell us what you hope to work on if you would like help deciding whether the workshop fits.
Email the teamDo I need to know how to code or already use AI?
No coding is required. Comfort with email, documents and spreadsheets is enough to start. We explain the concepts, help you set up on the day, and guide you through building and checking a workflow. Bring a laptop and charger. You do not need a paid AI subscription beforehand.
What can I work on if I am between roles?
Bring a task connected to the work you want to do next. You could use public job descriptions and your own career notes to map your experience, compare employers using public research, or prepare a sample brief in your field. You will practise checking and explaining the result. This is a practical AI workshop, not a job placement service.
Which files should I bring?
Choose a recurring task and a few documents you are allowed to use. Public, sample or anonymised material is fine. Do not upload confidential employer or client information without permission. You work in your own accounts; we do not ask for your passwords. We cover source checking and where a person needs to review or approve the work.
What support is included afterwards?
Access to the alumni community and monthly AI updates are included.
Can I use SkillsFuture Credit or a subsidy?
Please contact hello@aiupgrade.asia before booking if you need SkillsFuture funding. Course eligibility must be confirmed before you rely on a credit or subsidy. Bookings are currently closed.
What if I cannot attend?
Tickets are non-refundable unless AI Upgrade cancels the workshop. You can transfer your place to another person at no extra charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. Contact hello@aiupgrade.asia to arrange a substitution.
