First-cohort participants working together on a task in Singapore
Working on their own tasks. The first AI Upgrade cohort, August 2026.

You have expertise. The question is how to use it now.

You know your field, can judge a good piece of work, and have years of decisions to draw on. Yet a stream of new AI tools can leave you wondering where to start, whether you’re keeping up, or what comes next in your career.

That experience gives you something concrete to build with: the sources AI needs, the questions worth asking, and the judgement to check its answers. AI Upgrade helps you put those things to work.

Joyce built on what she already knew

I am 50, completely non-technical, permanently short of time, and trying to scale Guilt Free Food without throwing money at every problem. So you can imagine my reaction when I built my first AI agent from scratch and it actually worked.

I have always thought that scaling means I need to teach more people what I know. Now I am starting to think about how we can make that knowledge available to the business whenever it needs it. I came in knowing almost nothing about building agents. Now I have one working at GFF every day.

Not another AI seminar

Your files. Your work. Something working before you leave.

Free webinars and online courses can show you what’s possible. Here, you spend two days applying it, with a builder beside you and a cohort capped at 20. You bring a real task, try it with AI, inspect the result and improve it.

Guidance while you build

Max teaches both days in person. Work through the points where a demonstration becomes harder to apply to your own files and decisions.

A workflow you have tested

Leave with a prototype for a recurring task, the instructions behind it, and clear points where you review or approve the work.

Two days in the room. A system you take home.

Day 1

Understand it. Try it on your work.

Learn how modern AI works, where it falls short, and how to give it useful context. Work with Claude and ChatGPT, then build and refine your first supervised agent using source files and clear instructions.

Day 2

Build around a problem of your own.

Use the Agent Design Canvas to define the task, sources, rules and human approval points. Organise your knowledge in an Obsidian Second Brain. Then design, test and present your own workflow during a two-hour build.

Also included: a two-hour follow-up seminar, alumni community, monthly AI updates and future-cohort benefits.

Business knowledge, available every day

Joyce reports that the agent she built now works at Guilt Free Food every day, making her knowledge available to the business.

Far more practical than I expected. I work in construction delivery, with no shortage of information: drawings, specifications, programmes, tenders. I came away feeling that, as a company of one, I now have additional team members — able to help me think, organise, research, draft and challenge ideas.

For the work you do now. And what comes next.

You might be established in a role, between roles, preparing to consult, or building a business. Bring a task you understand and want to handle better.

Comfort with email, documents and spreadsheets is enough to start. No coding is required, and there is no age requirement.
