That experience gives you something concrete to build with: the sources AI needs, the questions worth asking, and the judgement to check its answers. AI Upgrade helps you put those things to work.
Joyce built on what she already knew
I am 50, completely non-technical, permanently short of time, and trying to scale Guilt Free Food without throwing money at every problem. So you can imagine my reaction when I built my first AI agent from scratch and it actually worked.
I have always thought that scaling means I need to teach more people what I know. Now I am starting to think about how we can make that knowledge available to the business whenever it needs it. I came in knowing almost nothing about building agents. Now I have one working at GFF every day.

Free webinars and online courses can show you what’s possible. Here, you spend one day applying it, with a builder beside you and a cohort capped at 20. You bring a real task, try it with AI, inspect the result and improve it. Public, sample and anonymised material are welcome; only use employer or client files with permission.
Guidance while you build
Max teaches the full day in person. Work through the points where a demonstration becomes harder to apply to your own files and decisions.
A workflow you have tested
Leave with a prototype for a recurring task, the instructions behind it, and clear points where you review or approve the work.

Morning
Understand it. Try it on your work.
Learn how modern AI works, where it falls short, and how to give it useful context. Work with Claude and ChatGPT, then build and refine your first supervised agent using source files and clear instructions.
Afternoon
Build around a problem of your own.
Use the Agent Design Canvas to define the task, sources, rules and human approval points. Then build and test your workflow, save reusable instructions and plan how to apply it after the workshop.

Before you book.
Do I need to know how to code or already use AI?
No coding is required. Comfort with email, documents and spreadsheets is enough to start. We explain the concepts, help you set up on the day, and guide you through building and checking a workflow. Bring a laptop and charger. You do not need a paid AI subscription beforehand.
What can I work on if I am between roles?
Bring a task connected to the work you want to do next. You could use public job descriptions and your own career notes to map your experience, compare employers using public research, or prepare a sample brief in your field. You will practise checking and explaining the result. This is a practical AI workshop, not a job placement service.
Which files should I bring?
Choose a recurring task and a few documents you are allowed to use. Public, sample or anonymised material is fine. Do not upload confidential employer or client information without permission. You work in your own accounts; we do not ask for your passwords. We cover source checking and where a person needs to review or approve the work.
What support is included afterwards?
Access to the alumni community and monthly AI updates are included.
Can I use SkillsFuture Credit or a subsidy?
Please contact hello@aiupgrade.asia before booking if you need SkillsFuture funding. Course eligibility must be confirmed before you rely on a credit or subsidy. Bookings are currently closed.
What if I cannot attend?
Tickets are non-refundable unless AI Upgrade cancels the workshop. You can transfer your place to another person at no extra charge with at least 48 hours’ notice. Contact hello@aiupgrade.asia to arrange a substitution.
